Mobility Scooter Shed Construction

This shed has been designed to easily store a mobility scooter. It has no floor, so that the mobility scooter can be stored with out the use of a ramp of gain access. Ideally the shed should be bolted to the ground, ensure security and keep your scooter safe when not in use, however it can be left freestading if you wish.

The scooter shed has a wide single door to alloow simple access and it is secured by the use pad bolts. The door has been braced and ledged to promote strength and rigidity.

The cladding is 12mm shiplap, tongue and groove, which provides the extra strength and build quality that overlap cladding cannot.
The framing and cladding have both have both pressure treated. The framework of this shed is built with 28x44mm timber, which has been planed and rounded.

Shed Roof

The roof is made from 12mm sheet material. This board is moisture resistant and provides good strength and durability.

The roof of the mobility scooter store is protected from the elements by a 20kg green mineral felt.

The delivery service is kerbside only, our driver may at his discretion assist in unloading the shed to the garden.
